Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026

How cancellation, the EU right of withdrawal and refunds work for SIA subscriptions.

1. Two different rights: withdrawal vs cancellation

These are legally distinct. WITHDRAWAL reverses a contract you just concluded, within a 14-day cooling-off period, as if it never happened. CANCELLATION ends an ongoing subscription for the future — the current period runs out and it does not renew. Both are available to you and are explained below.

2. Right of withdrawal (14 days, EU consumers)

As an EU consumer you may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. Because our paid plans are digital services delivered immediately, at checkout you can consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you thereby lose the 14-day withdrawal right once the service begins. If you do NOT give that consent, the service starts after 14 days or upon your explicit request.

3. How to withdraw

Because you consent to immediate access at purchase, the 14-day right is normally waived and in practice you simply cancel (section 4). In the case where the right still applies (you did not consent to immediate access), you may withdraw by emailing statnode.contact@gmail.com with your account email and the purchase date — no form and no reason are required, and we confirm by email.

4. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel any time from your account settings or the payment provider's portal — no fee, no reason needed. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for and is not renewed. Cancelling on its own does not refund the current period (see fairness refunds below).

5. Fairness refunds

Beyond the statutory withdrawal right, we refund in fairness cases: a duplicate or accidental charge; a technical fault that prevented you from using paid features for a significant time; or a charge taken after a timely cancellation. Contact us and we resolve it, typically within a few business days.

6. The Free plan

The Free plan is free — there is nothing to refund. You can stop using it at any time.

7. How refunds are paid, and contact

Refunds are issued by our payment provider to the original payment method; timing depends on your bank, usually 5–10 business days after approval. To request a refund or withdrawal, email statnode.contact@gmail.com with the email on your account and the charge date; we reply within 14 days. This policy forms part of the Terms of Service and does not limit mandatory consumer rights in your country.
